It features a robust mild steel frame with powder epoxy coating and a maximum load capacity of 250 kg (551.15 lbs). It offers position adjustments through high-quality DC-powered actuators for height, backrest, and Trendelenburg/reverse Trendelenburg functions to improve comfort, safety, and accessibility for both the patient and medical staff.
User-friendly electrical foot and handset controllers enhance operational efficiency, while safety features include quick-release polypropylene (PP) / polyethylene (PE) side rails for smooth and effortless folding and positioning, lockable headboard and footboard with bumpers, and a CPR manual release lever for emergencies. Integrated with a retractable leg section and a removable padded leg-section mattress, the bed can be easily extended or retracted to accommodate various patient needs and procedures.
Mobility is facilitated with 150 mm diameter wheels, featuring a central locking system for manoeuvrability and stability. Additional features include independently adjustable Hi-Lo and swivel functions for accessories such as handgrips, padded knee crutches, and patient step, allowing customisation to accommodate different patient body proportions. The stainless steel fluid collection 6-liter bowl with engraved marking indicator is designed to safely collect and measure amniotic fluid, blood, and other bodily discharges during delivery. The volume markings enable healthcare providers to monitor fluid loss accurately, which is essential in detecting risks such as excessive bleeding (postpartum haemorrhage) or abnormal amniotic fluid volume (e.g., polyhydramnios), thereby supporting timely clinical intervention and ensuring maternal safety.
