Electronic Permit to Work (ePTW): An innovative, cloud-based solution designed to systematically help permit management

Any company will need a permit to work system for their fellow workers in order to ensure that tasks are properly planned and implemented, especially if the nature of work is particularly hazardous or poses significant risks.

Substantially to replace the paper permit application into digital permit application

EPTW have 3 module apps & dashboard:
1. EPTW Confined Space
2. EPTW High Risk
3. SSTA / SSKA (Checklist and Standard Operating Procedures)

Telekom Research and Development Sdn Bhd has launched the EPTW system since July 2021 and Telekom Malaysia has been using it nationwide.

Only authorised personnel are allowed to issue the permits

Record workers attendance through facial recognition

The use of mobile application at site to determine the workers via facial recognition allows only authorised workers are at site.

Identifying the site with geotagging

This allows for verifying of the workers presence using geo location to ensure the right location of the workers.

Ensuring work/procedures are correctly executed

Work procedures can be customisable by authorised users and this allows for self-management of the operating procedures.
