The X60 is a compact, multifunction combined Overcurrent & Earth Fault relay designed to detect, record and quickly isolate phase and earth-faults to protect distribution feeders and downstream equipment from damage and nuisance trips. Key features include a numerical protection core with 2×16-digit LCD, three-phase with three-stage phase overcurrent and two-stage earth-fault protection (IDMT and definite-time curves), thermal-overload protection, trip-circuit supervision and circuit-breaker-failure logic. It offers RS232/RS485 MODBUS-RTU communications, event/fault timestamps, programmable digital inputs/outputs and full compliance to IEC 60255 plus common ANSI codes (49RMS, 50P, 50N, 51P, 51N, 50BF, 74TC, CLP). It is compatible with Mikro’s Mikrosafe software for settings, monitoring and logs. Benefits: fast, selective fault clearing that reduces asset damage and downtime; flexible protection coordination with multi-stage settings; easier commissioning and remote monitoring via MODBUS and Mikrosafe; and clear forensic data (event/fault logs) to speed troubleshooting and maintenance. The relay’s programmable I/O and compact footprint simplify retrofits into existing panels. Target audiences: electrical engineers and protection coordinators, OEMs and panel builders, facility and plant maintenance teams, and utilities or contractors needing a cost-effective feeder protection relay with modern communications and logging for medium-voltage distribution and industrial applications.

The X60 combines three-stage overcurrent and two-stage earth fault protection within one compact relay. This integration simplifies panel design, reduces component count, and enhances coordination across protection zones, ideal for modern systems where space and cost efficiency are critical.
Equipped with Trip Circuit Supervision (TCS) and Breaker Failure Protection (CBFP), the X60 continuously monitors the integrity of the protection chain. This ensures that breakers operate correctly when faults occur, significantly reducing the risk of uncleared faults and improving system uptime.
Through RS232/RS485 MODBUS-RTU communication, the X60 seamlessly integrates with SCADA and energy management systems. Combined with Mikrosafe software, users gain full visibility into system conditions, real-time fault data, and event logs, thus supporting predictive maintenance and smarter decision-making.
The relay's programmable digital inputs/outputs, selectable protection curves (IDMT and definite time), and adjustable trip settings allow customization for diverse applications. This flexibility enables precise coordination across various network configurations, from industrial feeders to utility substations.
Built to IEC 60255 standards, the X60 ensures durability and accuracy under demanding electrical environmental conditions. Its compact, panel-mountable design makes it ideal for both new installations and retrofitting existing systems, offering a dependable, long-term protection solution for modern power networks.
