Mikro X80 Power Factor Regulator is a three-phase power factor regulator designed to measure reactive power per phase and automatically switch capacitor banks to optimise power factor, reduce reactive demand and help avoid utility penalty charges.
Key features include a 64×128 dot-matrix LCD with harmonic tables/graphs and measurements (V, I, THD, active/reactive/apparent power, frequency, temperature); true three-phase measurement with selectable compensation modes (Optimum Demand, Selected Phase, Highest Load); five switching programs (Automatic, Linear, Four-Quadrant, Rotational, Manual); automatic C/K (capacitance/step) and rated step detection; CT polarity correction; programmable alarms and fan control; and Modbus-RTU over RS485 for central monitoring.
Benefits include faster, guided commissioning (step-by-step setup), improved accuracy through per-phase compensation, detailed harmonic visibility for power quality troubleshooting, reduced energy costs and utility penalties, and easy integration into SCADA/energy management via Modbus. The guided commissioning and automatic detection features lower installation time and human error.
Target users are industrial and commercial electrical engineers, facilities and energy managers, panel builders, and consultants seeking reliable, networkable PFC solutions for multi-phase installations where harmonic awareness, accurate per-phase correction, and remote monitoring are required.
