Airestec’s Bioactive Microorganism Coil Treatment (BMCT) is specifically researched, developed and made in Malaysia (Buatan Malaysia) as a specialised solution formulated to significantly retard and delay the growth of biofilm, bacteria, fungi and mould on air-conditioning cooling coils. BMCT is designed to work optimally after deep coil decontamination using Airestec’s BMED.
Cooling coils are highly susceptible to microbial contamination because of their dark and moist operating environment. This can compromise Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and obstruct heat exchange and airflow. If left untreated, biofilm deposits may accelerate coil corrosion, reduce cooling efficiency, increase energy consumption and contribute to higher maintenance costs and premature equipment failure.
