Malaysia is the earliest countries to integrate the RPM into the cargo X-ray scanner since 2006. AELB (JTA) has played an important role to focus the radiation waste checking at the seaport and border togethe with JKDM.
This technology is utilized the physical effect of the plastic scintillator & photo multipliying tube (PMT) to achieve the large area radiation detection. We have breakthrough all the technical limitation of conventional RPM and improve it to latest cutting edge technology to match with the digital and cloud base era. hence, the wireless transmission RPM concept is established to resolve the limitation in 20 years ago.
Limitations of Conventional RPM
- susceptible to lighning strike
- RPM must be installed within 1000m from the control room due to the data transmission constraint.
- extremely slow report generation. take about 12s.
