MySTI is a national initiative under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and the Ministry of Finance (MOF) aimed at increasing the adoption of locally developed R&D products and services, while strengthening market confidence in national innovations. This initiative aligns with the aspirations of DSTIN, MADANI Economy, RDICE, and RMK-13 in reinforcing the national innovation and commercialisation ecosystem.
Launched as a pilot in June 2023 for a period of two (2) years, MySTI received encouraging participation from researchers and innovation-based companies. Following the completion of the pilot phase, the programme has been continued as an ongoing initiative.
The MySTI Inventory now functions as a database that facilitates search and serves as a key reference for ministries, agencies, and the private sector for procurement purposes.
In addition, it acts as an integrated reporting hub linked with the MySTI Inventory to streamline reporting, monitoring, and analysis of MySTI product usage by the public sector.
