KUALA LUMPUR – The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), through the MySTI initiative, has strengthened the presence of local innovative products within the Oil and Gas Services and Equipment (OGSE) sector through its participation in OGSE Partners Day (OPD) 2026. Held on April 23rd at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), the event was attended by approximately 800 participants, including representatives from OGSE companies and strategic industry partners. This proactive involvement represents a significant step for MySTI in ensuring Malaysian-made technologies secure a foothold in high-impact heavy industry markets.
Throughout the event, the MySTI team leveraged the platform by engaging in extensive networking sessions with various company representatives and individuals from across the OGSE ecosystem. These strategic interactions were aimed not only at fostering potential future collaborations but also served as a vital medium to broaden awareness regarding MySTI’s role as a premier mark of quality for local innovation. During these sessions, participants were introduced to the capabilities of local R&D technologies that have met stringent standards, proving their readiness for integration into the competitive operations of the oil and gas industry.
