Materials in Works (MIW) is a leading sustainable packaging company specializing in recycled cellulose pulp (RCP)-based packaging solutions. MIW works closely with molded-pulp manufacturers, FMCG brands, and label converters to create environmentally friendly packaging that supports waste diversion and reduces carbon emissions.

Since 1st August 2024, MIW has generated RM 21,750 in revenue, reflecting strong market demand for sustainable packaging solutions. MIW has successfully engaged with a diverse range of clients, including:

Planned Way Forward to Accelerate Commercialization
MIW’s strategy to strengthen and accelerate commercialization focuses on three key areas:

1. Expand Production Capacity: Upgrading to a larger facility with semi-automated pulping lines will increase production from 30 tons to over 100 tons of RCP per month, meeting the growing demand from manufacturers and FMCG brands.

2. Deepen Industry Partnerships: Through the M-Liner Cycle program, MIW aims to secure long-term feedstock agreements with label converters and establish structured offtake pipelines with downstream manufacturers, enabling rapid and reliable commercialization of RCP-based products.

3. Accelerate Market Adoption: MIW will obtain key certifications (Food Safety, FSC), strengthen R&D with USM to improve material performance, and launch a customer-facing digital impact dashboard to quantify CO₂ savings and waste diversion.
