PUTRAJAYA – The MySTI initiative, under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), was featured as one of the primary exhibitors at the 2025 Prime Minister’s Department Innovation and Excellence Day (HIK JPM 2025) held at Hotel Everly on October 14, 2025. This prestigious event, officiated by the Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN), YBhg. Tan Sri Shamsul Azri bin Abu Bakar, served as a strategic platform for MySTI to highlight local technological capabilities to over 550 distinguished guests, including the top leadership of departments and agencies under the Prime Minister's Department.
Throughout the exhibition, MySTI, alongside the National Technology and Innovation Sandbox (NTIS) and Malaysia Commercialisation Year (MCY) initiatives, presented various R&D achievements and local innovative products ready for commercialization. The innovation display focused on demonstrating the quality of Malaysian-made goods, which not only meet international standards but also offer cost-effective solutions to enhance the efficiency of public service delivery. MySTI's participation enabled direct engagement between local innovators and policymakers, effectively paving the way for broader government procurement of homegrown products.
MySTI’s involvement in HIK JPM 2025 marks a proactive effort to strengthen the national STI ecosystem by ensuring local innovations gain visibility at the highest levels of government administration. As a primary facilitator, MySTI remains committed to driving technology transfer and R&D commercialization through inclusive procurement policies. These efforts not only bolster national technological sovereignty but also serve as a catalyst for a more competitive local industry in the face of global economic challenges.
